Angel Meetup 2012 – what did you miss and where and how to catch up

The idea to organise Angel Meetup emerged from the desire to get the start-up and investorcommunity engaging closer together. Diane Roberts and her team at Xcell Partners undertook the task of getting the event off the ground and transforming the idea into a reality.

Angel Meetup provided a unique forum for exchange for both Anger Investors and Entrepreneurs alike, igniting many lively debates and discussions. It was held in the heart of the Silicon Docks in The Factory, on Barrow Street a stone’s throw from the Google office and home to StartupBootcampDublin.

Key thought leaders were on hand to impart their experiences and provide insight on how they see the value of Angel Investment impacting on the island of Ireland. Watch a video of the presentation highlights.

Xcell Partners took it upon themselves to source four high-growth potential companies to pitch at the event with a view to showcasing what entrepreneurial talent Ireland currently has an offer. The four were drawn from 70+ applications. Some of these companies have received follow up from attending investors who are exploring the possibility of investing in these attractive opportunities.
