Archipelago wins David Manley awards

We did not see that one coming.

Our predictions

Our predictions about Block-T (winner arts category) and Smart Wall Paint (winner business category) were spot on. Archipelago won the social enterprise category (our bet was with Mission V) and was announced the overall winner. Part of the judging was which company would benefit most from the 100K support package and John Egan was the lucky winner.

Tips and speeches

Great event, some great speeches about the man David Manley and his values and virtues, some great tips from Michael Kearney, founder of Snap Print, manager of Irish rugby team about links between rugby and business (everybody needs to know, understand and work according to the play book), the importance of passion, dreaming and setting goals (he sets goals every 3 months,  shares these with a few friends and keeps check on progress). Passion, dreaming and target setting got him the job as manager of the Irish rugby team. Manley 2013 1024x682 Archipelago wins David Manley awards
