With International Women’s Day coming up this week, a couple of women in the Digital Industry have launched DigiWomen – an initiative to showcase the wealth of female talent available in the field here in Ireland.

Pauline Sargent of SocialZavvy.ie and Rita Tobin of Asar are the ladies behind this new community which aims to celebrate the contribution these women are making to the digital industry.

If you’d like to participate, you are asked to submit a photo of to the Digiwomen Facebook page before lunchtime, Thursday 7th March for inclusion in a video to be launched on International Women’s day which is this Friday, 8th March 2013.   And a little self-promotion is positively encouraged so do include a note on what you do too!
