Blog on smallbusinesscan and reach 100,000 prospects

As you know we are busy redesigning the site. That always causes some creative tension.  Nearly all members of the board have been insulted and most have by now threatened to resign (If only they would).

We are confident that you will like what we have come up with. We are simplifying, we are changing the design (if you want a preview and want to give us feedback and ideas, contact Ron@smallbusinesscan.com and we will give you access to the screen shots), the CAN-man is back, but we are also changing the sentiment.

Time to get on with it
We were always anti-doom and gloom, we were always Yes we can (which is why Obama is a member and joined us when he visited Ireland, say hi to him here, we believe that the small and medium companies in Ireland are the core of the economy, but there was also a tone of “in this together” and “new beginning”.

We think it is time to move on. We have now had 4 years of depression and negativity. We know what the issues are. We know it is not all doom and gloom. We know it is export, innovation, technology, entrepreneurship and small business that are going to do it. It is time to move on and get cracking on making our businesses the best they can be. The companies left standing are lean-mean fighting machines and it is time to pounce. Here and abroad

There is power in a group of over 10,000 SBC-ers. Lets use it (suggestions for a battle cry welcome).

We need some help too. We are looking for regular bloggers on any of the subjects we mentioned above. Or any other subject you think is relevant. We need volunteers to help your fellow owner managers and willing to meet for a coffee and a chat (and off line version of our forum). We are looking for more stories of companies doing well, interesting start-ups, good tips, and insights.

In return you will be not only be featured on a website that some months reaches 80,000 fellow business people (with thanks to the Huffington Post), but we will also feature you with our media partners such as the Belfast Telegraph, Business Bites and our new partner Business and Leadership: Combined exposure of over 100,000 visitors and readers. And growing.

And if you write 500 words or so on any aspect of your business or business experiences, you could have access to this platform to promote your business. For FREE.
