The British Irish Chamber of Commerce welcomes the release of the Government’s Contingency Framework which identifies a number of key policy issues to be managed by Government Departments arising from today’s referendum vote in the UK.
The Chamber looks forward to working with our colleagues across Government and the Agencies on behalf of our members, in influencing the outcomes of the EU/UK negotiations in relation to their sector, through identifying and tracking policy issues which impact on members interests over the time horizon of the UK’s exit from the EU.
John McGrane Director General of the British Irish Chamber said today-
“The British Irish Chamber has today launched a new resource, the British Irish Gateway for Trade, for enterprises seeking help in identifying opportunities across Ireland and the United Kingdom. The Chamber remains committed to working closely with our members as they steer a path in this changed political and policy environment. We look forward to working with our members in the provision of information and guidance around the practical implications of the Brexit result”
