Today I came across a business called Farmbud. They're creating a directory of businesses relevant to the farming community and distributing it free to Farmers North and South (to be printed in February). I'm potentially interested in taking an advert along these lines, but having heard several stories about directory advertising scams, I'd like to be sure that the business is reliable and trustworthy before handing over some of my hard-earned and very modest advertising budget.

Just a quick note to say that I've received fantastic support, assistance and opinions from the forums. I have no doubt this has helped to bring business my way.
I have also found the experiences that others have shared to be very beneficial, it's great to find out about possible pitfalls and being prepared rather than falling into them.
Finally the meet up in NSC in Mahon was excellent; it great to hear 'real' people talking about the challenges facing small businesses, and remaining positive and dealing with them. That's what the rest of us have to do too.
Overall I'm delighted with the help and support I get from Smallbusinesscan, I have recommended it to a number of people and will continue to do so.

Recently, together with my colleague Roland Vachet, we have started an LED Torch business called LED Powerhouse.
