An interesting conference which will take place at the Aviva Stadium on 24th and 25th January next. Under the title GATHERING FOR ACTION: Delivering Joint Business Opportunities for Britain and Ireland in 2013, the conference will fuel your thoughts and aspirations for success in the New Year, with inspirational speakers and superb networking opportunities.
SMEs can expect exclusive access to guaranteed networking appointments, a working group discussing issues relevant to the SME sector and a constant presence of support services offering information and direction
1. A ‘power breakfast’ will run for one hour from 8am on Friday 25th where SME members can make guaranteed networking appointments with senior representatives from internationally renowned Corporate firms like KPMG, O’Rourke Reid, McCann Fitzgerald, Oriel Windfarm, Glendimplex, ESB, Lloyds Ireland and RSMFG. You will be able to book up to four 10 minute appointments on a first-come-first-served basis. In addition, there will be help and advice on-hand free of charge from leading practitioners in Law, Banking, Taxation etc. throughout the event. Just tell us what you need and we will arrange the introduction for that 10 minute chat over the 2 days.
2. A working group specifically targeted to the SME audience will be held on Thursday 24th and the results of this working group will be presented on Friday 25th to a plenary of speakers and high profile guests from the UK and Irish governments as well as representatives from the Northern Ireland, Welsh and Scottish Assemblies. The working group discussion will be under the banner “Cracking the Export Challenge – Sharing Success Stories” and will be addressed by Alan Sullivan, Director, Meditec Medical and Susan Hayes, ‘The Positive Economist’.
3. Support services offering advice and information will be running in an exhibition around the conference on both days. Invest NI, UKTI, ISME, Enterprise Ireland and CorkMeet are just some of the organizations who will be on hand to answer your questions.
