Are You The Right Person For The Job?

Ask yourself the question; if you would apply for the job of CEO if your own company would you get it? What happens if the answer in “NO”?
A lot of “experts” would argue that at different stages in the growth of the company you should resign and let other people take over. Not sure if that is true. You do need to consider your skill set, but you also have to remember that you are the one that started this company, you brought it this far and nobody knows the business like you do.

If you have a deficit in your skills, get some training, look in your network for people that can help or strengthen your management team with the lacking skills. This is not only about skill set, but also about the art of delegation.

Your main job is to hold the picture and drive the vision.
