Pepsi Launches First New Bottle in 16 Years
Pepsi has unveiled a new single-serve bottle for its Pepsi trademark portfolio including Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Pepsi MAX and Pepsi NEXT, marking its first design update since 1996. A visual expression of the brand’s Excitement of Now positioning, the bottle is rolling out in markets nationwide starting in April. The new bottle’s bold swirl and elevated profile reflect the brand’s attributes and youthful spirit, capturing the excitement of now for Pepsi consumers. The etched, grip-able bottom allows consumers to have a more stimulating, tactile interaction with the bottle itself. A new glass bottle will also be offered as a premium package in select stores.

Zipz have launched a groundbreaking new collection of elegant, single-serve wines that takes the premium drinking experience anywhere. Both the glass and wrap are also 100% recyclable.
Special sleeves protect new beverage
Upbeat drinks use special decorative incorporating UV protection sleeves to protect a new range of high protein dairy against UV light degradation. Upbeat drinks have been launched by the Good Whey Co, the new drink is a high quality fresh product and it was therefore essential that its packaging projected a premium image and distinguished it from traditional UHT drinks. At the same time, the product needed to be effectively protected from UV light degradation, which could adversely affect its taste and shelf life. The Good Whey Co has selected a custom-designed PET bottle with a tapered waist. The sleeve is printed with a UV absorbing lacquer. The sleeves, which wrap tightly around the contours of the bottle, are flexo printed in nine colours with a matt silk finish that is smooth to the touch and further reinforces the brand’s quality positioning.
Artesian bottled water debuts reusable straw

Beer brand smartens up its look with new ‘bow-tie can’
This spring Budweiser will introduce a striking and original new beer can – a bowtie-shaped aluminium can that mirrors Budweiser’s iconic bowtie logo. The quirky can shape is intended to attract new younger drinkers and will come in 8 rather than 6 packs, because the unusual design reduces the amount of beer they can hold. It becomes available on store shelves beginning May 6 only in the United States and will not replace the traditional Budweiser can.
