here's an interesting thread that may help...some of these guys seem to know what they're talking about (some may not)...if you attach your post to this thread, these guys will be pinged and may get back to you...looks like a lot of your query could be answered here though! also have a root around the forums...put in search words like SEO etc and see what it throws up. best of luck!

Hi

These videos may help give you an idea of what's involved.

Be wary about those that offer you a quick fix as it is anything but - yes you can optimise the site for ranking but that is just standard stuff and will not necessarily improve your place on results to the extent it benefits the business.

Briefly:
meaningful, relevant content into body text with continuous updates
relevant keywords in title tag
appropriate and correct meta tags
lots and lots of strong incoming links from other popular sites - the time-consuming / hard bit

google also changes its algorithims frequently and with that your page ranking will change

Social media is also very important for ranking as well as a way of driving traffic

hope this helps

Alan

type "write tenders ireland" into google and my videos come first out of 459,000 results. "write tenders uk" still gets first page of 3,810,000 results.

As others have said SEO's a bit of a science.

That's one of the reasons why I like to use video. And why I signed up to the amazing Traffic Geyser

It is a complete system for broadcasting your videos out to virtually every video hosting site on the web. Google then auto-transcribes them and picks out keywords. Mike Koenigs - the guy who invented Traffic Geyser, also has a ton of how-to videos to get the best out of it and frankly, there's so much on there that I haven't got through it all yet.

Not only does it provide the technology, they also coach you through the marketing plan and psychology you need to apply. It's working extremely well for me at the minute, particularly as I am trying to reach a very fragmented and un-obvious market. I can't wait to try it out on a mass-market, as I believe it absolutely destroys.

here's the link again anyway - I think it's the business.
