Free Guides to Twitter for Business

Only 7% of Irish people have a twitter account, whereas the figure for Facebook is 50%…  Being skeptical about the value of Twitter to businesses , I took my time researching it and must confess to being a reluctant convert.

Here are ten reasons why businesses should be using Twitter, and you can access a free guide to how to start and use a twitter account at the end…

Twitter is supposed to help you do lots of things…

  1. Help build a sales funnel with leads and connect with prospects…
  2. Run market research quickly – throw out an idea and gauge the reaction…
  3. Select between options with feedback from your followers…
  4. Collect breaking news by following key players in your industry
  5. Build out your brand, reaching new people that you do not reach currently…
  6. Network with others, collaborate and engage in fusion marketing
  7. Run teaser campaigns to build interest ahead of a launch…
  8. Defend / enhance your reputation in a rapid and timely fashion
  9. Highlight content from your blogs to build traffic to your website…
  10. Bring you to the top of Google rankings for keyword searches

Is the main reason people are not using it is (a) fear of the unknown, (b) not knowing what to use it for and (c) not knowing how to use it?

To help resolve this, I have written a FREE guide in two parts…

Download Part 1 Here…it’s downloadable as a PDF and explains the basics – how to get started, set up your account, find interesting stuff, start to tweet and not look like a twit – do learn from my mistakes!

Download Part 2 Here…It examines the above objectives in more detail, illustrates strategies, and offers you tools to measure your impact with twitter. These will help you decide if it is worthwhile long term.
