Funding for Organisations That Support Women in Enterprise in Northern Ireland

RBS Group is pleased to announce that the third round of Inspiring Women in Enterprise grant funding is now open for applications. If you are a not-for-profit organisation that helps women to explore their enterprise potential, you could be eligible to apply for Inspiring Women in Enterprise grant funding.

According to our recent report, the RBS Enterprise Tracker, statistics show that 61% of women agree that a fear of failure would stop them starting up in business, while only 37% of women feel they have the skills and ability needed to start their own business – compared with 47% of men. We believe that more can be done to encourage female entrepreneurs, and that is what RBS Inspiring Women in Enterprise is all about.

Organisations that can deliver initiatives that help women on their enterprise journey can apply for funding – be it helping them set up in business, delivering enterprise education, innovative networking events, developing entrepreneurial knowledge, or something completely new and different.

Applying for a grant is simple, and can be done through the Inspiring Enterprise website.

The application window is open from today, Monday 30th September, and will be open for a period of two weeks (closes noon on Monday 14th October), during which time organisations can submit their application. Full eligibility criteria is available on the website.

Each year, grant funding of £500,000 is made available to support organisations which help women to start up and succeed in business. Over the previous two funding rounds, 21 organisations were awarded grants and they in turn have supported scores of women in a vast range of different ways.

Visit the RBS Inspiring Enterprise website for more information, FAQs, case studies and additional help and support.

Good luck to all organisations who apply!
