NDRC’s LaunchPad accelerator is currently open for applications from entrepreneurs with great concepts in the digital space; the closing date for application is 8th July. A workshop for applicants will take place at NDRC in Dublin 8 on 30th June at 6pm, a week in advance of the closing date for applications. This workshop will provide potential applicants with a clear vision of the programme and a chance to meet those who have taken part before. Successful applicants will move in to a dedicated space alongside other start-ups and will get hands-on mentoring; weekly workshops and networking with investors, successful entrepreneurs, and professionals; plus an investment of up to €20,000.
NDRC LaunchPad, Ireland’s original micro-seed investment programme is now entering its fourth programme. The three month accelerator, focused on moving ideas to income, has to-date seen 105 start-ups pitching ideas; and supported 28 start-up companies. Participating start-ups span market domains of entertainment and media; financial services; sales and marketing services; enterprise and consumer, and all are targeted at customer development and international scaling.
The closing date for applications to LaunchPad is 5pm on the 8th July 2011 and selected applicants will pitch to a panel of evaluators. The programme will start in September 2011, and conclude in November 2011 with the ‘Lift Off’ competition at which all participating start-ups will pitch their product or service to a panel of investors and successful entrepreneurs, competing for a follow-on investment..
