Irwin’s Bakery at “I Believe” in CHQ

As part of “I believe“, Ulster Bank has given a stand to their clients to sample the Christmas atmosphere, sell and make the public aware of their offerings.

Over the next weeks you can visit them at the Food and Craft market. On Thursday 10 December it is the turn of Irwin’s bakery.

Irwin’s bakery

Irwin’s Bakery is Northern Ireland’s largest independent plant bakery and is a family owned and run company based in Portadown, Co Armagh. They have been baking bread for over 100 years so bread making is something they have grown up with and are famous for like our Irwin’s Nutty Krust Plain Loaf, Irwin’s Softee and their Muffins and Rolls range.

Irwin’s products are based on traditional Irish recipes and baking methods, including original fermentation and slow-baking processes.  Their Rankin Selection range of Irish Breads were developed in 2002 by Irwin’s Bakery and celebrity chef Paul Rankin and include Brown Soda Bread, Stoneground Wheaten, Soda Farls, Potato Slims, Fruit Soda, Barmbrack and Fruit Loaf.

Visit them at the fair or visit their website.
