Even if we say so ourselves, the first page of the SBC blog this week is a pretty interesting place. Our bloggers ie you lot, are a fairly discerning bunch and what you write seems to be constantly on the money in terms of what’s interesting and topical for SMEs.
Peer to Peer funding
Top of our list is an article on crowd funding. Curious Wines, a long time friend of smallbusinesscan, is raising 30k through LinkedFinance. Apparently they raised most of the money in one week. Have a look at what Curious Wines Principal Michael Kane has to say on this innovative and growing way to raise finance for a business.
We’ll also reach out to LinkedFinance to do some articles on what’s involved in using this service, so watch this space.
SEO that makes sense
We’ve a very good and clear blog on the dark art of SEO. CubeSEO illustrates SEO in a way that’s accepted by Google. Reading through it and it all makes sense.
Working for yourself
There’s 2 insightful blogs on starting micro businesses (hope this is the right description); one on starting a home business and another on turning a hobby into a business. If you read these stories look out for the pop up suggested reading that the site throws up.
You couldn’t not be attracted to this suggestion entitled: Spotlight Anne Marie Foran; stop talking about it and just do it!
Extra Special Offers
Before we go have a look at the various special offers that SBC companies are making available to other SBC companies. It’s building to a nice range of offers and so far we’re being told that the prices are very competitive.
