Atlas Travel Services Atlas Travel is an independent travel company specializing in corporate travel management. Established in 1967, it has a large client base across a broad spectrum of businesses and offers smarter travel solutions through expertise and tailored service both offline and online. In April 2009, Atlas Travel entered a partnership with American Express, allowing the company to enhance its value proposition to customers by offering a local travel service with global power and solutions. Atlas Travel is based in Pearse Street, in Dublin city centre.

Food and Drink Award

GreenValley Farms Ltd t/a Killowen Farm Killowen Farm is a dairy farm food producer run by the Dunne Family. The company produces finest quality yogurt using milk direct from its own herd of 150 cows. Made daily in small batches using only natural ingredients, the yogurt features locally-sourced fruit where possible. Established in 2004 and based in the farming parish of Courtnacuddy, Co. Wexford, Killowen Farm employs 17 people. The yogurts are available in a wide variety of outlets, throughout Ireland, from small shops to larger supermarket chains which include Dunnes Stores, Supervalu and Tesco.

Small Business Award

Intact Software Intact Software is a software company that develops innovative accounting, business management and ERP software. The company supports businesses in the wholesale, distribution, building supply chain, services and retail sectors. Established in 1992, Intact Software now employs 50 people. The company is headquartered in Dundalk and also has offices in Cork, Omagh and the UK along with a dedicated channel of Intact partners.

Woman Led Business Award

McGee Pharma International McGee Pharma International (MPI) provides expert EU and US quality and regulatory compliance services to pharmaceutical companies developing, manufacturing, marketing or distributing medicines in the EU. With a global presence, its service extends across the entire product life cycle, providing clients with a holistic approach to their regulatory requirements. The core of MPI’s advice and support is in the interest of patient supply. Led by managing director Ann McGee, the company was founded in 2004 and is based in Portmarnock, Dublin.

Agri-Business Award

Paul Brophy Produce Paul Brophy Produce is a vegetable producer established 31 years ago in Naas, Co. Kildare, where it is based today. Originally started as an experiment, growing a range of vegetables to supply to local supermarkets, green grocers and restaurants, the business now services the seasonal demand for fresh Irish produce, specializing in the production of broccoli and white and green cabbage. Its main customers today include major multiples and food service companies. Paul Brophy Produce employs 10 full time staff and 60 part-time staff during seasonal peaks.

International Business Award

Realex Payments Realex Payments is a European payment service provider which provides a broad range of payment services for over 12,500 clients across 30 countries including Vodafone, Virgin Atlantic, AXA Insurance and Aer Lingus. It processes payments in excess of €28bn per annum. Established in 2000 by Colm Lyon, Realex Payments now employs over 160 staff members. The company is headquartered at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin, with sister offices in London and Paris.

Social Enterprise Award

Sensational Kids Sensational Kids is a social enterprise that helps children of all abilities and all ages to develop their potential through clinical and educational services, supported by child development and learning tools and training. Its services include occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, educational psychological assessments, and reading teachers. The charity was founded in 2007 by CEO Karen Leigh after experiencing waiting lists and a lack of affordable and accessible occupational therapy services for her own children. Based in Kildare town, Sensational Kids now employs nine staff.

Business Start-up Award

Smart Wall Paint Smart Wall Paint develops, manufactures and sells a one-coat whiteboard paint which transforms smooth surfaces into write-on wipe-off whiteboard areas. The paint is available in three finishes – white, clear and magnetic, is eco-friendly, and can be applied to wood, metal, glass and other smooth surfaces. A commercial grade paint, the product is manufactured in Ireland and the UK and customers include Google, SAP, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, BT, Vodafone and Virgin, as well as small businesses. Smart Wall Paint was established in 2011 by Ronan Clarke, and is based in Rathgar, Dublin. Employing 15 staff members, the product is now available in 20 countries with 25 distributors, and is also sold online.
