The SFA Annual National Conference,“Restoring Consumer Confidence”, Wednesday, 20th June 2012 from 8.30-1pm, followed by lunch.
The Conference will focus on the need to drive domestic demand and restore consumer confidence in Ireland, which given the huge number of businesses that operate solely in the domestic economy is the No. 1 issue in returning businesses and therefore the economy to growth. If businesses can persuade existing customers to buy more from them and/or attract new ones, then many of their other problems pale into insignificance.
This Conference will provide you with insight on the key business steps leading brands have taken to address the needs of a changing consumer. Industry practitioners in key sectors including property, telecommunications, manufacturing, retail and services, will share with you what works and doesn’t work in the current economy from practical experience. The Conference will also allow you to gain a better understanding on how the 2012 customer is thinking and behaving differently through cutting-edge research and John Brennan from RTE’s “At Your Service” will give you advice on how to make better connections with customers to allow you grow your business. Minister for Small Business, John Perry, TD will deliver the opening address.
This event is the National Day for Small Business and we expect 250 attendees which will also provide you with a great networking opportunity. We have specifically kept the cost low at €70 plus VAT for SFA members and members of the smallbusinesscan community (early bird rate), to ensure maximum attendance.
