The Rocket Man applied for a loan halfway through 2014. Here’s why they got it:
Passion for food, cooking and good ingredients
Rocket Man Food Co. began in March 2012 with the intention of bringing healthy and convenient food to the farmers’ markets of Cork. Since then they have done just that. They have a passion for food, cooking and good ingredients. They source them from farmers they know and from merchants they trust.
Will it taste awesome?
Their first question when it comes to making a dish is, “Will this taste awesome?” They are into salads. They serve over 30 signature pulse and grain dishes that are healthy, convenient and fun. They are now also into Falafal. Every week they are hosting “Falafal Friday’s” at the Rocket Man HQ.
The business is growing, they are constantly expanding their product range, they are recruiting and they are going from strength to strength.
They trade at farmers’ markets and events and can be found at:
Princes Street – Monday to Saturday (that is their HQ)
Wilton Farmers Market – Tuesdays
Mahon Point Farmers Market – Thursdays
Douglas Farmers Market – Saturdays
