The Growth Traps

If you are in a growth phase, please be aware of some of the traps:

  1. Focus on fundraising rather than selling
  2. Underestimate the cash burn, you will need twice as much and you will sell half of what your expect
  3. Forget account management of existing and solely focus on acquiring new clients
  4. Not getting rid of bad clients
  5. Not delegating
  6. Giving away equity too soon
  7. Cashing in too soon
