In conjunction with Belfast Restaurant Week 2014 from 4- 11 October, the City Business Hub encourage new and existing entrepreneurs to start up on their own and develop a successful business within the food industry.
Have you ever thought about owning your own restaurant, a small café or maybe selling your product at a local market stall? If so, you may want to pop into to the Start a Food Business Information Day for free advice on everything you need to know about starting up in the food and drink industry.
Support on your journey
There will be business advice experts on hand to provide you with information and support on your journey to starting/advancing your own food business.
Representatives from Belfast City Council will be providing information on areas such as health and safety, registering your business and licenses required when starting up a food business.
There will also be information on relevant qualifications you may need and how to register for them, as well as Tax and VAT advice and how to get your free business plan written to start your business and access finance.

The day will be jam packed full of useful information, so regardless of your business stage, pop into the Start a Food Business Day on Friday 10 October between 12pm & 1.30pm.
