Made It is a series of talks that bring together some of Dublin’s most interesting makers and doers to help demystify how projects go from an idea to a successful end product.
Following our successful ‘How to Get Funded’ talk in March 2015, Made It is back with a brand new format which aims to further break down barriers between those seeking information and those ‘in the know’. ‘The Funding Clinic’ will follow a speed dating style whereby attendees can experience brief one on one sessions with experienced fundraisers.
Today, tickets are available here for Made It #6: ‘The Funding Clinic’, on Saturday the 18th of July in The Twisted Pepper. Starting at 2.00 pm, tickets are €15 and include a 3FE Coffee and sweet treat from the Wild Flour Bakery.
For Made It #6, we’re hosting a drop in style clinic where those seeking funding have the opportunity to get one on one advice from our hand selected fundraising gurus.
If you have ever hit a brick wall while completing an Arts Council Funding application form or have a great idea but are repeatedly rejected from funding grants this event could be for you! At the funding clinic attendees will be given the opportunity to have six five-minute sessions with our experienced guest speakers. A round table discussion will close the event where our speakers will highlight common problems attendees have faced and give overall advice and feedback based on their own experiences.
Our guest speakers have again and again secured funding through grant applications, awards, competitions etc. We have an eclectic mix ranging from the arts sector to the not for profit. This is your chance to ask the tough questions to people that matter, and start getting your project off the ground.
